The Building Engineer coordinates the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all necessary building systems. The Building Engineer coordinates and controls a range of sophisticated, stand-alone electrical, mechanical, and digital building control systems. Will perform preventative maintenance, changes, improvements, and repairs to building systems as appropriate. Duties also include ensuring the timely and accurate resolution of any museum maintenance concerns. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. This position reports to the Chief Engineer.

Director of Education
The Director of Education is responsible for providing creative and strategic leadership to oversee all aspects of the museum’s educational programming, including programming to serve visiting school groups; to support and retain membership; and to attract and serve general visitors. The Director will work collaboratively with curatorial, marketing, membership, fundraising and other staff, as relevant, in the concept generation and content development of programs and then take primary responsibility for operational planning, budgeting, staff training, program delivery and follow-up evaluation. The Director of Education ensures seamless integration of multi-faceted educational programming into the daily operations of the museum in order to create a meaningful visitor experience and meet attendance, membership and educational goals. The position reports to the Vice President of Collections, Exhibitions and Programming, and oversees a department of ten full time and forty part-time staff.
Major Gifts Officer
The Museum is currently raising funds to capstone its oversubscribed $150 million capital campaign, set to conclude at year-end 2017. Working together with the Vice President of Advancement and the Museum’s CEO, the Major Gifts Officer will function as a visible frontline fundraiser to secure gifts of $25,000 and above during the Museum’s first full year of operation and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a track record of closing major-level gifts ideally within a museum, arts, or higher education environment.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all maintenance service requests as assigned. Will perform preventative maintenance, changes, improvements, and repairs to building systems as appropriate. This position reports to the Chief Engineer.
