Flag Day and Father's Day Weekend

June 14, 2018 - 10:00 am to June 17, 2018 - 5:00 pm
Museum of the American Revolution

In honor of Flag Day and Father’s Day Weekend, the Museum of the American Revolution will bring out of its collections George Washington’s Commander-in-Chief’s Standard, the flag that marked his presence on the battlefield. The rare surviving flag will be on display in the Museum’s first-floor Patriots Gallery from June 14 – 17.

Add a stitch to a reproduction of a Revolutionary flag, design your own flag, and try cutting a six-pointed star like the one on the Washington Standard. Complete in an interactive “capture the flag” challenge in the Museum’s galleries, try on clothing and practice rolling cartridges in a hands-on exhibit, and explore the Museum’s new family discovery center, Revolution Place.
