History After Hours - 3rd Tuesdays

Free for Members; $10 for non-members. 

Join us on the 3rd Tuesday of each month for special themed programs, happy hour food and drink specials, games, and full access to the Museum’s exhibits. 

This Tuesday, Celebrate George Washington's War Tent

Happy Hour: 5-6 pm, Cross Keys Cafe

Tent Activities: 5-8 pm, Rotunda

  • Who guarded Washington's tent? Ask a costumed educator interpreting the Commander in Chief's Guard. 
  • What would you wear in revolutionary Philadelphia? Try on a few outfit choices and take a photo at a selfie station! #howrevolutionary
  • Color and create your own mini paper tent!

Live Music: 5-8 pm, Rotunda
Erik Lichack, muscian, will perform 18th-century music on period woodwinds (flute and flageolet) throughout the evening in the Rotunda and Atrium. 

Film Screenings: Washington's War Tent Theater, 2nd floor. 
Screening Times: 6-6:15 pm, 7-7:15 pm, 
Stay after the 7 pm screening for a tent talk and film Q&A at 7:15 pm.
