This entertainment will feature works heard in the concert rooms, music societies, theatres, and grand private houses of the Irish Georgian capital composed by Handel, Arne, Corelli, Roseingrave, Geminiani, and O’Carolan, the Irish bard, among other esteemed masters. John Burkhalter, founder of The Practitioners & Ornaments of Musick and a current member of the Museum of the American Revolution and the Irish Georgian Society, will present an illustrated musical performance as he plays English and small flutes, joined by harpsichordist Kerry Heimann and soprano Abigail Chapman.
