Tunes from Owen Madden's Music Book

The Museum recently acquired Revolutionary War soldier and fifer Owen Madden's handwritten music book for our collection. We enlisted our summer intern Matt Skic to play some of these tunes on his 18th-century reproduction fife so we could hear what they may have sounded like back then. Take a listen!
