Philadelphia Marathon Street Closures - Sat. & Sun., Nov. 17-18

The City of Philadelphia has announced that a number of streets will be closed in many parts of the city due to the Philadelphia Marathon this weekend, Nov. 17-18.  The Museum will be open for our normal hours, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please note that street access and parking near the Museum may be limited and plan accordingly.  More Information

Hours

The Museum is open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, except for major holidays. Please note that the last timed ticket is sold one hour before closing. 

During the summer months, the Museum operates on extended hours from Memorial Day to Labor Day. 

The Museum is closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. ​ ​

Hamilton Was Here - Now Open!

Hamilton Was Here: Rising up in Revolutionary Philadelphia, our newest hands-on exhibit is now open and is free with general admission! Hamilton Was Here is open to the public weekdays from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm and weekends from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Learn more about this interactive experience and plan your visit today. 

Cross Keys Café

Our Cross Keys Café is open to the public everyday at 8:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm.  

Museum Store

The Museum Store opens daily at 10:00 am and closes at 5:00 pm.

Timed tickets are required for entry and good for two consecutive days. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or at the Museum.

The Museum is happy to offer discounts to seniors (65 and over), educators, active duty or retired military, and to students with a valid ID.

Access Admission

Visiting cardholders must present their valid ACCESS Card and photo ID to receive the discount and admits up to four (4) family members at a rate of $2 per person—including the ACCESS Cardholder. Admission is to be paid by the visitor, not through their EBT card. The ACCESS admission discount is not valid on special exhibitions or features, or with any other offers or group rates.

Select your Museum Admission ticket time. Your ticket is valid any time after your entry time. You may stay as long as you like in the Museum. Tickets to the Museum of the American Revolution are good for two consecutive days.
