Early Access Guided Tour – Core Exhibition

Offered every Tuesday, and Saturday at 9:00 am 
$50 non-members, $35 members

This 60-minute guided tour offers visitors an exclusive opportunity to see the Museum's exhibits before we open.  These early access tours are great for members and first time visitors alike! Space is limited to 15 people.

This 60-minute guided tour offers visitors an exclusive opportunity to experience the Museum’s first international loan exhibit, Cost of Revolution: The Life and Death of an Irish Soldier, with an educator before it opens to the public.

Take our new audio tour of the Museum’s core exhibition narrated by the Museum’s President and CEO Dr. R. Scott Stephenson, and featuring the “voices” of Phillis Wheatley, the first published African American female poet, and Baroness Frederika von Riedesel, who aided the wounded and journaled about her experience.

Family Highlights Tour

The Family Highlights Tour is an all-ages experience that offers an immersive and thought-provoking guide through the galleries. This tour is designed with family-friendly questions and activities at each stop, providing a unique opportunity for children and their adults to engage with the exhibitions.

Walking Tour: Occupied Philadelphia

Offered Saturdays at 4:00 - 5:00 
$31 non-members, $12 members

Richard St. George called Philadelphia a “fine town.” What was it like during the British occupation of 1777-1778? Join an educator for a 60-minute outdoor walking tour of British Philadelphia.

Touch Tour

Next: November 6 - 9am-10:30am (Early Access)

Join a Museum educator for a tactile tour of the Museum’s core galleries designed for guests with visual disabilities and their sighted companions. This hour-and-a-half tour includes sensory experiences and replica objects that activate the history of the Revolution through hands-on learning.

These tours are free with admission. Must be booked in advanced. Each tour accommodates 8 guests.

Private Touch Tours can be booked upon request with at least 3 weeks notice to ensure staffing.
